At the Ethnographic Museum there is no shortage of colors, smiles or curious childred these days. The two-week Easter workshops brought together more than 500 children, which is a special joy for the museum. Together we painted eggs with wax and stylus, felted wool and told stories about how our grandmothers used to decorate eggs for the holiday. And we got 500 new keepers of tradition!
But that is not all. As a final event at the Ethnographic Museum, on Tuesday, April 15th from 18:00, with museum advisor Sasa Sreckovic, we will guide visitors through the exhibition "Folk Patterns of Easter Eggs" and discover drawings, watercolors and paintings from the late 19th and mid-20th centuries, shown for the first time, which document the decoration of eggs throughout Serbia. At this event, you will see something that has never been shown at the Ethnographic Museum before.
