The alternative rock band from Belgrade - Kanda, Kodza i Nebojsa, is the second band that will, after Rambo Amadeus, perform in the "Concerts for 200" series (a series of concerts for 200 people) at the Karmakoma Club. The concert is scheduled for Thursday, 27th March, starting at 21:00.
We have been listening to the band with the catchy name since the early 1990s, when they revealed that they came up with "kanda" and "kodza" while reading old translations of Dostoevsky, and with the help of a boy from the building where the then guitarist Rastko Lupulovic lived, they added "Nebojsa". Since 1996, they have released nine studio albums and changed their lineup several times, and in Karmakoma we will hear them in the following lineup: Oliver Nektarijevic (vocals), Janko Mostarlic (guitar), Nenad Pejovic (guitar), Bosko Stanojevic (guitar) and Vladan Rajovic (drummer).
At the concert in Karmakoma, the audience will be the first to hear live the new song "Sloboda i ljubav", which the band will release on 14th March. The song, by the way, was created based on the motifs of the song "Hallelujah" from the album "Prekidi stvrnosti", with new lyrics and a different arrangement.
Kanda, Kodza and Nebojsa represent a special voice of alternative rock and roll in the 90s in Serbia, which was always a fusion with dub, reggae, funk and acid jazz.
As a reminder, in early March, the KarmakomaKarmakoma club started the "Concerts for 200" series, where in a limited capacity, both the audience and the performers are provided with special conditions for an intimate gig. The concept was presented at a special gathering with the media, where the importance of communication between the band and the audience that smaller capacity venues provide was discussed with journalists.
The club will once again open its doors at 20:00, and the concert will start at exactly 21:00.
