Free tours on the occasion of the Liberation Day of Belgrade

The 20th October is an important day in the history of Serbia. That day marks the liberation of Belgrade from the German occupiers in World War II

On the occasion of marking the Day of Liberation of Belgrade in the World War II, the City of Belgrade presents its citizens with free walking tours organized by the Tourist Organization of Belgrade.

A licensed tourist guide will take you through the memory of the glorious October week of 1944 and one of the most significant military operations in the old Yugoslavia and tell you about historic facts and interesting details.

During the walk, visitors will hear the story about the details of the "Belgrade operation", the struggle and the fate of the heroes of the liberators, as well as all the known and lesser-known actors of the fight for the final liberation of our capital.

Free tours will be held every day from 15th to 20th October, starting at 10:00. The departure is from the Terazije fountain.

Due to the limited number of people in the group, registration is mandatory by calling the information center of the Tourist Organization of Belgrade Tourist Organization of Belgrade at 011 2635622.
