Although it has been in the urban plan of Belgrade since 1923, it was built and opened almost a century later - in 2012. It is 964 m long with the 200 m high pylon. Bridge was named after the citizens' survey and the name "Most na Adi" was chosen. Although the linguists indicated that it was a grammatically incorrect name, and that the "Most preko Ade" (Bridge across/over Ada) would be correct, the commission stuck to their original decision.
